FERNDALE - A candlelight ceremony will be held Sunday, Dec. 2, for local families who have lost someone, because the holidays can be particularly difficult for those who are grieving.

The annual Holiday Candlelight Service of Remembrance will take place at 2 p.m. at Moles Farewell Tributes - Greenacres, 5700 Northwest Drive, at the corner of Axton Road.

People who attend can have the name of a loved one read during the ceremony, and brief memories and messages can be shared. The event is free and includes refreshments. Details: 360-384-3401.
