This is in response to the letter that was printed on Sunday, Nov. 25. For many years I lived in Lancaster, Calif. It is part of the Antelope Valley which is dubbed The Wind Capital." Tehachapi, Calif., is very near. It is dubbed "The Wind Turbine Capital." I recently moved to Whatcom County and have read about the debate on wind turbines. I suggest Mr. Mitchell take a trip there to hear the sound pollution. Interestingly, those who wanted the wind turbines, seemed to be the first in line to complain about the noise. Cudos to the Whatcom County Council Members for voting for restrictions.
