A Canadian driver who claimed to be lost was arrested at the Point Roberts border crossing when about 72 pounds of marijuana were found in his pickup.
The Province newspaper in Vancouver, B.C., reports that Canadian Border Services officers stopped the truck after it appeared to be moving erratically and trying to avoid officials at the crossing Saturday, Nov. 24.
The 54-year-old man was arrested when the pot was found stuffed in 11 trash bags, according to The Province.
