BELLINGHAM - A free workshop about understanding the basics of being a government contractor will be held Thursday, Nov. 29.
The workshop, "Government Contracting 101," goes from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Harbor Center Conference Room at 1801 Roeder Ave. The presenter is John Tamble, a retired government contracting officer and an assistant specialist with the Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center.
The class is designed for established businesses interested in the government marketplace. A variety of topics will be addressed, including regulations, schedules and marketing strategies.
