Sehome alum leads Team USA to top finish

Former Sehome athlete Jacob Riley helped Team USA to a third-place finish during the 2012 International Chiba Ekiden race Friday, Nov. 23, in Japan.

Riley ran the third stage of the six-stage race, placing second in a time of 28 minutes, 46 seconds. Kenya won the race with a time of 2:05.06, Japan took second, finishing in 2:05.16 and USA ran a 2:06.36.

Fifteen international teams competed in the event.
