It seems to me that we are facing a great opportunity with the request that Texas leave the union. Texans have only taken from the federal government for the last 100 years or so. They have contributed so little that it would be a relief to have them on their own. Would that Mexico take the free loaders in, that would be irony at its best.

In general it would be helpful if Canada would offer to take Washington and Montana, perhaps Minnesota and Michigan as well - free us of what I find to be the deceitful practices of the Republicans.
