Washington State Congressman Adam Smith joined with a 17 other members of Congress to sign and send a Ietter to Obama urging the administration respect the new marijuana legalization laws in Washington and Colorado.
I don't know what is required to do it (it should be easily done since we, the people are, constitutionally, supposed to have all the power) but every single one of those other politicians who supposedly represent Washington state in Congress, including the two senators, need to be immediately recalled from their positions for not supporting Washington in this issue. Every single one of our 10 congressional representatives should have been involved in creating and signing that letter, and it should be a demand, not a request.
The states formed the federal government, constitutionally the states have more powers than the federal government; so, what a state wants to do should have no representative of the state in the federal government opposing it in any way, or even just being silent on the matter.
