Suggests readings on global warming

Published: November 24, 2012

The Meteorological Office of the United Kingdom issued the following statement on their blog on Nov. 17, 2012: "The science does not exist to make detailed forecasts for temperature and snowfall for the end of this month, let alone for December or even the winter as a whole...."? These are the official climate scientists of Great Britain talking. We have been told in the pages of The Bellingham Herald that the science of climate change is "settled." Someone had better send a subscription to The Herald to the Met Office so they can learn the latest climate science.

For those who would like to read the science rather than the politics of climate change I suggest Skinner and Avery's "Unstoppable Global Warming: Every 1,500 Years," Ian Plimer's "Heaven and Earth: Global Warming, The Missing Science," or Roy Spencer's "Climate Confusion: How Global Warming Hysteria Leads to Bad Science, Pandering Politicians and Misguided Policies that Hurt the Poor." The science is out there for those who will look.
