BELLINGHAM - Universal Solution Martial Arts Academy will offer a free self-defense class for women Saturday, Dec. 1.
The event is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the academy, 2101 Grant St. in Bellingham.
Participants will learn verbal skills, assertiveness and physical techniques, organizers said.
