I'm not sure who made the decision to not allow taxis to make curb side pick ups at the airport; but, they certainly have not had our experience. We arrived at midnight during a hard rain and needed to pull our luggage approximately 100 yards to our reserved cab. I can't imagine how difficult it will be for our residents and visitors during the wet, cold winter ahead; especially, if they have not reserved a taxi. They (including elderly,disabled, and families with young children) must walk even further and brave the elements while trying to hail a cab. A poor decision which needs to be addressed by the port authority!
