BELLINGHAM - Highgate Senior Living, 155 E. Kellogg Road, will offer free memory screenings for senior citizens on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
Screenings take about 10 to 15 minutes. Walk-ins are welcome 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
While not a diagnosis, memory screening is an important first step in determining if an elderly person has a problem, said Britt Kane, community relations coordinator at Highgate.
If a person's score indicates possible impairment, Highgate will provide information about the causes of memory decline and offer suggestions on courses of action, which may include a comprehensive medical assessment. Details: 360-671-1459 or bellingham@highgateseniorliving.com.
