Salutes persistence of black voters

Published: November 12, 2012

God bless African-American voters nationwide for their perseverance and persistence. Despite every attempt imaginable to deny these Americans their right to vote these folks weathered four- to eight-hour waits in line, attempts to challenge their eligibility, being given absentee ballots instead of authentic ballots when then did finally make it to the front of the line, and limited opportunities to vote prior to election day, they persevered and made the difference once again. The usual suspects, Republican governors in Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, did everything they could think of to stop you from exercising your rights. Thank you for your persistence!
