Willamette University senior outside hitter/middle hitter Madisyn Leenstra (Sehome) became the school's first player since 2004 to be selected to the All-Northwest Conference first-team in volleyball.
Leenstra recorded double-digit kill totals in 14 of the Bearcats' 23 matches this season, including a season-high 28 against Lewis & Clark on Oct. 5. She also recorded double-digit digs nine times, with a career high 20 against Lewis & Clark.
She finished as Willamette's leader in kills (284) and total attacks (829), and led the team in kills per set (3.30) service aces (25) and helt a .230 hitting percentage.
Leenstra, who was honorable mention all-conference as a junior, finished her career with 697 kills, 163 blocks, 299 sets and a career hitting percentage of .213 in 94 matches.
