With Veterans Day falling on a Sunday this year, government offices, schools and many other places will close Monday, Nov. 12, to mark the holiday.
Most retail stores and restaurants will be open, though some places may have limited hours.

Banks: Most are closed; call ahead to confirm.
U.S. Postal Service: Closed, no mail delivery.
Garbage: Regular pickup schedule for SSC, Nooksack Valley Disposal customers.
WTA buses: Running on regular schedules.
The Bellingham Herald: Offices open, regular newspaper delivery.
Opportunity Council: Closed.
YMCA: Open.
Movie theaters: Open.
Stores
Grocery stores: Most have regular hours.
Bellis Fair: Open.

Public schools: Closed.
