The poll commissioned by SSA Marine of Seattle (Bellingham Herald, Nov. 3) is a perfect example of how polls themselves can be biased.
The paragraph in favor of the coal port is presented as fact and the opposing one as hearsay. The bias is so blatant it is almost -- but not quite -- funny.
