Barron Heating and Air Conditioning is celebrating its 40th anniversary Saturday, Nov. 10, at both its Ferndale and Mount Vernon locations.
The business was founded by Dan and Vivian Barron in 1972. Now owned by John Barron and Bill Pinkey, Barron Heating will be offering free hot dogs, beverages and prize drawings from noon to 4 p.m.
The company employs more than 80 people in its two stores.
Barron Heating offers heating and air conditioning products and services, including in-floor radiant and ductless heat pump systems.
Barron Heating moved its Whatcom County location in 2009 from Bellingham to Ferndale's Pacific Industrial Park at 5100 Pacific Highway. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. For more information, call 888-796-4959 or visit barronheating.com.
