1997 Sehome grad Larsen to be inducted into Linfield College hall of fame

Amber Larsen, a 1997 graduate of Sehome High School, will be inducted into the Linfield College hall of fame.

Larsen will join eight former Linfield athletes enshrined in the Linfield Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday, Nov. 10.

Larsen, a 2001 graduate of Linfield, was a 2001 NCAA champion in the 400-meter hurdles and three-time All-American and Academic All-American. Larsen was a four-time Northwest Conference champion in the hurdles.

Larsen won the NWC title in the 400 meters as a freshman. As a junior Larsen won the 400 and 400-meter hurdles and was a part of Linfield's winning 4x100 relay. As a senior, Larsen won the 100 hurdles and 400 hurdles at the NWC Championships and was named the women's most outstanding athlete.

Linfield is located in McMinnville, Ore.
