Seattle University's Matthew McClement (Bellingham) out-kicked a pair of runners at the end to finish fourth at the Western Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 27, at Ruston, La.

McClement, a senior, completed the 8-kilometer course in 24 minutes, 46.78 seconds to earn first-team All-WAC honors and helped the Redhawks place third overall.

Next up is the NCAA Division I West Regional on Nov. 9 at Jefferson Park Golf Course in Seattle.
