I support a yes vote on Port of Bellingham, Proposition 1 adding two port commissioners to the three already in place. The present size and complexity of waterfront development, a growing airport and the very busy port requires the policy making and oversight of five commissioners to protect and grow our millions in assets. Five commissioners will bring better accountability and fresh ideas to a major portion of our local economy. Please vote yes on Proposition 1.
