Given the criteria you have used for endorsing candidates, it's difficult to understand why you endorsed Vincent Buys rather than Matt Krogh. Yes, Vincent Buys joined with Democrats to require Canadians to pay sales tax on purchases made in Washington. One would be hard pressed, however, to find anyone in the state opposed to that. More relevant are his stated views on government, taxes, and reproductive rights for women, all of which are more closely aligned with, as Mitt Romney once famously said, extreme conservatism. To your credit, The Herald did point out you would like to see more of Matt Krogh. So would I. This election.
