I believe 12-year congressman Rick Larsen is incapable of prioritizing budgetary matters maintaining expenditures within revenues.
Features of Larsen's tenure include:
1.) Sequestration which could threaten military expenditures in Everett and Oak Harbor and the citizens and businesses in these communities.
2.) Though Obamacare has shrunk the "doughnut hole" in 2012 people who itemize high prescription drug bill's will find themselves paying these savings to the IRS.
3.) Worse yet, Obamacare, has within its "... we have to pass the bill before you know what's in the bill..." actions as a 2013 tax year hidden tax increase! Currently, those Americans facing high medical expenses are allowed a deduction to the extent that those expenses exceed 7.5 percent of adjusted gross income. This tax increase imposes a threshold of 10 percent of adjusted gross income. By limiting this deduction, Obamacare widens the net of taxable income for the sickest Americans. This tax provision will most harm near retirees and those with modest incomes but high medical bills.
With $10 trillion in deficits accrued during his tenure I can no longer afford Congressman Rick Larsen.
I support Dan Matthews for Congress.
