Steelhead anglers have the chance to pick up tips from some of the biggest names in the Northwest during 2012 Steelhead University, planned for Nov. 10 in Kent. Interested anglers should register soon as spots are filling up.

Among the instructors scheduled to be on hand are Nick Amato, Terry Rudnick, Dave Vedder, Josh Hughes, Nick Petosa and Terry Weist.

The event includes classes, the chance to meet presenters, tackle giveaways and a chance to look at new gear from manufacturer representatives.

The event will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 10 at the IBEW Local 46 Auditorium, 19802 62nd Ave. S., Kent.
