TAYLOR LUNDE

School: Meridian

Sport: Girls' soccer

Year: Junior

Position: Midfield

What she did: Lunde recorded a goal and an assist in the Trojans' 3-0 win over Mount Baker in a first-round elimination game of the Class 1A Northwest District Tournament on Wednesday, Oct. 24. Entring play on Friday, Oct. 25, Lunde was tied for the team lead with 10 goals this season along with Lexi McKinnon and led the team with eight assists.

Coach's quote: "Taylor continues to lead our team with exceptional play. She is dangerous from any position on the field and skilled with the ball at her foot." - Andrea Ames

AUDEN SCHILDER AND E.J. TROUTMAN

School: Bellingham

Sport: Boys' tennis

Year: Seniors

Event: Doubles

What they did: Schilder and Troutman won three straight loser-out matches, all of which were extremely close, three-set matches, to finish second place at the Class 2A Northwest District Tournament and secure a state tournament berth. Troutman qualified for the third straight year. It is the first time for Schilder.
