The Burlington-Edison football team beat Sedro-Woolley 14-7 in a Class 2A/3A Northwest Conference game Friday, Oct. 26, in Burlington.
The Tigers' win clinched the NWC's No. 2 seed in the Class 2A District Playoffs and dropped Squalicum to the No. 3 seed, forcing the Storm to play perennial power Archbishop Murphy on the road next week.
Burlington-Edison put together a 17-play, 93-yard, four-quarter drive, spanning 8 minutes, 18 seconds to win the game. The drive was capped by a Dalton Schwetz 10-yard touchdown run.
Tigers' Tyler Morrison finished the game with 134 yards on 34 carries and a TD. Sedro-Woolley's Shawn Kelly, who finished with 37 yards on the ground, scored the Cubs' only touchdown.
