The first event will be 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31; the second event will be Saturday, Nov. 3.
Wednesday's event will start with a ribbon-cutting by company executive Rick Haggen, followed by face painting, a photo booth, a prize wheel and a Halloween scavenger hunt for prizes.
Saturday's event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include the same kid-friendly activities. In addition, the store will give away $50 worth of groceries every half hour, provide samples from local vendors, and offer horse-drawn carriage rides.
