Published: October 25, 2012

The Sehome volleyball team lost at Burlington-Edison 25-13, 25-19, 18-25, 25-19 in a Northwest Conference match on Wednesday, Oct. 24.

"We started out slow," Sehome coach Kristy White said in a phone interview. "We didn't really play our game or pace. We picked it up in our second game and by the third game our defense did a phenomenal job reading where they were hitting."

Sehome was led by Quinn Donaldson with 10 kills, Dani Johnson with 12 kills and Kendra Thomas with 23 digs.

"Kendra and Casey Grosso did a great job tonight and were defensive specialists," White said. "We are now just getting ready for districts."

Sehome ended the regular season 11-4, 10-3 NWC and will play Archbishop Murphy in the first round of the Class 2A Northwest District Tournament on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
