Lynden wins regular season finale 3-0 over Sedro-Woolley

The Lynden volleyball team finished its regular season with a 25-22, 25-10, 25-18 win at Sedro-Woolley in a Northwest Conference game on Wednesday, Oct. 24.

"We finished up the year nicely," Lynden coach Angie Dallas said in a phone interview. "We were up and down but I thought we did fine."

The Lions were led by Kat Webb with 11 kills, Maddi Hommes with nine kills, Stephanie Somers with two aces, Jenna Bonsen with two aces and eight digs and Taylor VanDalen with seven digs and 18 assists.

"Kat really stood out," Dallas said. "She went in and played some great front row and had a couple blocks. Kelsey Bouwman had five kills and passed relly well in our back row."

Lynden finished the year 10-4, 9-3 NWC and will play against Cedarcrest in the first round of district on Wednesday, Oct. 31.
