Mount Baker running back Izaiha Schwinden has been selected The Bellingham Herald's Football Player of the Week in an online poll.
Schwinden received 71.4 percent of the 42 votes cast (30 votes) at BellinghamHerald.com to beat out Lynden's Luke Christianson and Meridian's Max McGuinn.
Schwinden rushed for three touchdowns and 67 yards on 10 carries in Mount Baker's 38-14 win at Blaine last week.
