The Sehome girls' soccer team ended the regular season undefeated with a 3-0 win at Burlington-Edison in a Northwest Conference match on Monday, Oct. 22.

"I thought they played really well and put together a strong passing game," Sehome coach Andria Fountain said in a phone interview. "Burlington is a good team and right behind us in the standings and it was a good solid effort to take some momentum into the district tournament."

Emily Webster scored the first goal for Sehome in the fourth minute on a pass from Nikki Thon.

Webster then assisted on the second goal when she got the ball to Christine Zlotek in the 54th minute. Webster also assisted on the final goal when Thone scored in the 75th minute.

"Emily and Nikki had great games, but everybody did a great job. It was a good team effort," Fountain said.

The Mariners finished the regular season 15-0-1, 12-0-0 NWC and will host their first district game on Saturday, Oct. 27.
