WCC volleyball falls in 3

The Whatcom Community College volleyball team lost 25-12, 25-16, 25-19 at Bellevue Community College in a NWAACC North Division match on Monday, Oct. 22.

"Bellevue is the No. 1 team in our region," Whatcom Community College coach Jeff McDonald said in a phone interview. "We didn't start off very well. We got better but couldn't keep up with them. It wasn't a super good match."

Whatcom was led by Zoey Greenberg with five kills and Brittany DeJager with 14 assists and nine digs.

The Orcas will next play Olympuc Community college at home on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
