What she did: Kindlund won the Northwest District Diving meet on Oct. 13 at Anacortes. Her score of 286 points secured an automatic berth to the Class 2A State Championships next month. Kindlund also took first in the diving competition in Northwest Conference dual meet against Burlington-Edison on Thursday, Oct. 19, with a six-dive score of 157.80.

She most often wins in dual meet competition, and doubles her team involvement by racing in the 50-yard freestyle and the 4x50 freestyle relay. TOM BRADLEY
School: Blaine
Sport: Cross country
Year: Senior
What he did: Bradley won the individual title at the Northwest Conference Championships on Wednesday, Oct. 18, at Civic Stadium with an impressive time of 15 minutes, 21 seconds. Bradley out-kicked Squalicum's Patrick Gibson over the final quarter mile to win his final showdown against a talented group of senior distance runners from Whatcom County.
