'PBS NewsHour' co-host coming to WWU for talk on election

BELLINGHAM - Tickets are on sale for a Saturday, Oct. 27, talk at Western Washington University by Jeffrey Brown, co-anchor and senior correspondent for the popular news analysis show "PBS NewsHour."

He will headline Western's annual Fall Family Open House weekend, Oct. 26-28.

Brown's topic will be "Election 2012: Where We Stand in the U.S. - A Divided America Prepares to Vote."

His lecture is 8 p.m. at the PAC Mainstage.

Tickets are $20 for students or $25 for general admission. They are available at the Western Box Office at 360-650-6146; tickets.wwu.edu; Village Books in Fairhaven; and the Community Food Co-Op.
