The Blaine volleyball team lost to Sedro-Woolley 23-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-22, 18-16 in a Northwest Conference match at home on Thursday, Oct. 18.

"We had a couple sets where we came back and had some mental toughness," Blaine coach Sheli Moore said in a phone interview. "The last set was back and forth, but some unforced errors did us in. Elle Moore did an exceptional job on defense and around the net tonight."

Blaine will host Burlington-Edison on Monday, Oct. 22, for its final game of the year.
