The Sehome volleyball team defeated Meridian 25-12, 25-13, 25-12 in a Northwest Conference match on Thursday, Oct. 18, at Meridian High School.
"We just came out kind of flat and couldn't get anything going throughout the game," Meridian coach Shannon Claeys said in a phone interview. "Sehome served really tough."
The Trojans were led by Sydney Wasilewski with six kills and Allecia Galindo with five kills and eight digs.
Sehome was led by Dani Johnson with nine kills and three aces and Megan Greer with three aces and 25 assists.
Sehome improved to 10-2, 9-1 NWC and will play at Lynden Christian on Monday, Oct. 22, while Meridian (2-10, 1-9 NWC) will play at Lynden.
