I read with dismay the letter in the Sept. 23 issue of The Herald drawing a comparison between our President and the dictatorial leader of North Korea, Kim Jung Un. Does the author of that letter really believe that this is a reasonable idea? On reflection it strikes me that perhaps a better comparison would be between Kim Jung Un and the President's opponent as both are scions of wealthy and powerful political families who, to quote the former Dallas Cowboys head coach Barry Switzer, "were born on third base and think they hit a triple." This is in comparison to our incumbent president who arose from very modest circumstances and who I believe has done a pretty good job considering the mess he inherited from his predecessor, another son of a powerful political family.
