Ballots are going in the mail Friday, Oct. 19, for the Nov. 6 general election, Whatcom County Auditor Debbie Adelstein said.
Registered voters who have not received their ballots by Friday, Oct. 26, should call the Election Division of the Auditor's Office at 360-676-6742.
Ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 6 to be valid.
The county has six drop boxes where ballots can be submitted. Drop ballots no later than 8 p.m. on Nov. 6.

New voters have until Oct. 29 to register in person at the Auditor's Office, 311 Grand Ave., Suite 103, Bellingham. Registrations by mail and online are no longer being accepted for this election.
