A group working to protect habitat and water quality in Terrell Creek will give a public tour highlighting improvements at Lake Terrell Dam.
The free tour is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20. More details are available by contacting watershed steward Rachel Vasak to RSVP: 360-715-0283, ext. 108; 360-739-1440; or rvasak@n-sea.org.
The dam, built in 1950, was modified last month to allow salmon passage and keep Terrell Creek flowing all summer.
