The Lynden volleyball team defeated Blaine 25-13, 25-16, 25-19 in a Northwest Conference match on Tuesday, Oct. 16, in Lynden.
The Lions were led by Maddi Hommes with eight kills, Kat Webb with six kills, Jenna Bonsen with eight digs and Taylor VanDalen with 11 digs.
"Everyone played tonight and had a good match," Lynden coach Angie Dallas said in a phone interview. "I thought it went especially well since we had a lot of people in and out of the match and people stepped up into leadership roles. It went well tonight."
Lynden is now 7-4, 6-3 NWC and will play at Ferndale on Thursday, Oct. 18, while Blaine (0-11, 0-10 NWC) will host Sedro-Woolley.
