Bellingham volleyball falls in 3 to Burlington-Edison

Bellingham's volleyball team lost 25-7, 25-20, 25-8 to Burlington-Edison in a Northwest Conference match on Tuesday, Oct. 16, in Bellingham.

"Burlington is a good, well-rounded team," Bellingham coach Kim Bjorklund said in a phone interview. "I was hoping to do a little better. We had a better second game but we had a couple unforced errors."

The Red Raiders were led by Olivia Halverson with five kills, Cari Pearsall with 12 assists and Olivia Bjorklund with eight digs.

Bellingham is now 5-6, 4-5 NWC and will play at Nooksack Valley on Thursday, Oct. 18.
