The Sehome girls' soccer team defeated Nooksack Valley 10-0 in a Northwest Conference match on Tuesday, Oct. 16, in Bellingham.

"I think it went well," Sehome coach Andria Fountain said in a phone interview. "It was our senior night so I tried to focus on playing them and celebrating their final game."

Fountain decided to play players in different positions, including goalkeeper Rachel Albert, who scored Sehome's fifth goal.

"They were pretty good about trying to get Rachel the ball and include other players playing in different positions and having fun," Fountain said. "I think Nooksack did a great job and were really good sports. It seemed like a fun night for everyone."

Sehome also had goals by Hannah Mankle, Emily Russell, Alia Jones, Kate Peterson, Hanna Tarleton and two each by Emily Webster and Teya Mischaikov.
