'Love Letters' play explores duo's lifetime of correspondence

"Love Letters" is on stage Oct. 19-21 and Oct. 26-28 at Firehouse Performing Arts Center.

"Love Letters," a moving comedy/drama by A.R. Gurney, is staged by Bellingham actor and director Christopher Key, who performs with Karen Ekland at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19-20, and Oct. 26-27; and 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, and Oct. 28 at Firehouse Performing Arts Center, 1314 Harris Ave.

The play is about two people who have corresponded all of their lives, from passing notes in class until one of them dies. It's the first event for Free Key Productions, Key's new theater and music company.
