BELLINGHAM - Candidates for state Legislature seats in the 40th and 42nd districts, as well as Bellingham's low-income housing levy, will be the focus of a Thursday, Oct. 18, political forum in Bellingham.
Area human service agencies are holding the event at Bellingham Municipal Court, 2014 C St.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Candidates will answer questions from service providers about the impacts of poverty, hunger or lack of affordable housing.
The forum will be broadcast live and also will be available on the city's website at cob.org.
Sponsoring agencies include the Opportunity Council, United Way, Bellingham Food Bank, Interfaith Community Health Center, Whatcom Homeless Coalition, and the Anti Hunger Coalition.
