ANACORTES - Kyle Morgan rushed for a 93-yard touchdown and Sedro-Woolley defeated Anacortes 48-6 in a Northwest Conference 3A/2A game on Friday, Oct. 12.
The win improved the Cubs to 3-4, 2-3 NWC 3A/2A while the Seahawks dropped to 0-7, 0-5 NWC 3A/2A.
Morgan rushed for touchdowns of 93 yards and 34 yards and totaled 135 yards on three carries. Mason Elms scored Sedro-Woolley's first two touchdowns on passes of 25 yards and 34 yards. Sedro-Woolley had a 21-0 lead after the first quarter and was up 35-0 at halftime.
The Cubs' final touchdown was a 55-yard run by Clayton Johnson, who finished with 92 yards, while teammate Shawn Kennedy totaled 116 yards rushing.
Sedro-Woolley will host Sehome Friday, Oct. 19, while Anacortes travels to Bellingham Friday, Oct. 19.
