Western Washington University and University of Sioux Falls battled to a 0-0 overtime tie in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference men's soccer game Thursday, Oct. 11, at Orca Field on the Whatcom Community College campus.

The Vikings, who had a 26-10 shot advantage, are now 4-6-2 overall, 2-5-2 in the GNAC.

Sioux Falls is now 1-8-2 and 1-5-2. The Panthers' only victory was a 3-1 triumph over WWU in Sioux Falls, S.D., on Sept. 22.

Forward Andrew Weishaar had the best chance for the Vikings, putting a header off the crossbar in the 52nd minute. The ball then bounced out to Kurtis Pederson, whose shot from the top of the penalty area forced a diving save from Sioux Falls goalkeeper Kyle Simons.

WWU goalkeeper Keegan Rogers had two saves in his fourth shutout of the season.
