The Meridian volleyball team lost 25-7, 25-13, 25-12 at Burlington-Edison in a Northwest Conference game on Thursday, Oct. 11.

"We really struggled on our serve receive and couldn't get anything going offensively," Meridian coach Shannon Claeys said in a phone interview.

The Trojans were led by Sydney Wasilewski with five kills and seven digs.

Meridian fell to 2-8, 1-7 NWC and will play at Lynden Christian on Tuesday, Oct. 16.
