Question: How did you first start playing football?
Answer: I used to play soccer before but was too aggressive and saw it (football) one day and decided to give it a try, and I fell in love with it.
Q: What do you like most about playing football?
A: I love to hit, but what I love most of all is when a team plays together and fights through rough times and comes out successful.
Q: What is your favorite part of game night?
A: Hearing that crowd after you just made a big tackle.
Q: What is your favorite football memory?
A: My favorite football memory is being able to play again after I blew out my knee.
Q: What is your favorite play to run on game night and why?
A: I like to run a blitz called Slam, because me and my best friend, the other middle linebacker, just come right up the middle and blow it up.
Q: Who is the funniest guy on your team and why?
A: The funniest guy, I would say is Kenny Williams. He's just this big ... guy, and you would never expect the things that he does. Let's leave it at that, haha.
Q: What is your usual/favorite pregame meal?
A: My favorite pre game meal would probably be a steak with Caesar salad.
Q: Do you have any pregame rituals/superstitions?
A: I always wash my hands right before I get called for the starting defense by the loud speaker.
Q: Is there a reason you chose your jersey number?
A: I actually wanted No. 12 my sophomore year, but I couldn't get it, and so I just stuck with 16.
Q: What position, other than the ones you currently play, would you like to try and why?
A: I played fullback last year, but due to injury, I'm not able to play both ways, but I would really enjoy playing running back.
Q: What drill do you dislike running the most in practice?
A: I love doing tackling groups, because they just let the linebackers go as hard as we can just one-on-one, pick a gap and fill. I don't really have a least favorite. I'm honestly just glad to be able to be back out there.
Q: Do you root for the Huskies or Cougars and why?
A: No, they both suck.
Q: Who is your favorite NFL player and why?
A: Ray Lewis by far. To me, I think he is the toughest and hardest hitter in the NFL. He just makes people look stupid.
Q: What do you think is the best sports movie and why?
A: "Remember the Titans," because it shows a football team that hates each other at the beginning come together as one team and be very successful.
Q: What other sports do you like to play?
A: Football is actually just for fun. My main sport is rugby.
Q: What do you plan to do after you are done with high school?
A: I'm going to Western Washington and playing rugby for Paul Horne.
Q: What other hobbies do you have?
A: I love to hunt and fish. I'm a big-time outdoors man, and one thing people don't know about me is that I love to farm. I raise pigs and work on farms all summer.
Q: What is the most played song on your iPod?
A: "Dirt Road Anthem" by Jason Aldean.
Q: What is your favorite TV show and why?
A: "Gold Rush" by far, because even though how much they fail, they always persevere until they succeed.
Q: What is your favorite video game?
A: I don't play a lot of video games, but when I do it's usually "Call of Duty," the newest one.
Q: What is your most favorite and least favorite class in school and why?
A: I really like College Writing. It helps for later on in the future, and my least favorite is World Philosophy. I don't think I've ever fallen asleep so many times in one class. I honestly don't see the point of that class whatsoever. It's just an opinion by someone that some people may believe.
Q: What is your favorite Twitter account to follow, and why?
A: I don't tweet.
