BELLINGHAM - People can learn the "Basics of Historical Research" during a workshop 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Goltz-Murray Archives Building at Western Washington University.
Western Libraries Heritage Resources and the Washington State Archives Northwest Branch are co-hosting the workshop for teachers, students, beginning genealogists and others who want to explore the past.
The event is free and open to the public, but participants must register by calling 425-564-3950 or e-mailing mvessey@wshs.wa.gov.
