The Sehome boys' tennis team swept visiting Sedro-Woolley 7-0 in Northwest Conference action on Monday, Oct. 8.
The win improved the Mariners, who have wrapped up a conference title, to 16-1, 13-0 NWC. The Cubs dropped to 2-11, 2-11 NWC.
"They played well at all positions," Sehome coach Bonna Giller said in a phone interview. "They got on the courts, played hard and played quickly."
The Mariners had wins at singles from Avery West, Johan Lahud-Zahner, Jason Newell and Sam Humphreys. Sehome had doubles wins by the teams of Nick Smith/Brady Anderson, Andrew Bruce/Ben Carroll and Trevor Press/Arie Knops.
Sehome ends its regular season with a match at Anacortes on Tuesday, Oct. 9.
