LYNDEN - Lynden Pioneer Museum will hold its annual free open house from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11.
Special attractions will include costumed characters, history presentations, hands-on activities, basket weaving, spinning, logging, and polka music by the Smiling Scandinavians band.
People also can view the museum's new exhibit, "Go! Engines, Motors and Forward Momentum," which opened Oct. 1 and runs through March 2013.
