The Sehome volleyball team defeated Blaine 25-12, 25-11, 25-5 in a Northwest Conference match on Thursday, Oct. 4, in Bellingham.
"The girls came out and played their game," Sehome coach Kristy White said in a phone interview. "They took care of the ball and the little things and I think that definitely showed."
Sehome was led by Taylor Lyall with 12 kills, Megan Greer with 29 assists and three aces and Alex Wilkinson with three aces.
"We got to try some people in different positions now that we are getting healthier," White said. "I thought everyone did a great job adjusting to wherever they were playing."
Sehome is now 7-2, 6-1 NWC and will play at Lynden on Thursday, Oct. 11, while Blaine fell to 0-8, 0-7 NWC and will host Squalicum on Tuesday, Oct. 9.
